Joyce Ann Miller-Gail

July 4, 1942 - June 6, 2020

Joyce Ann Miller-Gail was born Joyce Ann Miller on July 4, 1942 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Melvin Miller and Wilma (Norton) Miller. She went to be with our Lord on June 6, 2020. She passed in her home in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 77. Joyce was a loving Mother, Grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt, and friend. Joyce was a retired Private Duty Nurse that loved taking care of others. She was a devoted Christian. She was a beautiful, strong, independent woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. Joyce brought joy and her love of Jesus to everyone she met. She opened her heart and home to many a friend and family member over the years. Joyce will be remembered by many names: Mom, Gramma, Granny J, Aunt Joyce, and Sister Gail, just to name a few. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and most of all her love of our one true God. She will be loved and missed always. If she were here she would tell us not to weep but to celebrate her going home to be with our Lord, to always love the Lord with all our hearts so that one day we will not only get to see her again but most importantly so we can spend eternity in Heaven with our savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Wilma Miller; two brothers, Jonathan Miller and Melvin Paul "Bud" Miller; and one long-time family friend Bobby Morrison. She is survived by two daughters, Jovonna (Wiley) Garland of Clay City, KY and Melissa (Ty) McGary of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren, Linda Bentley (Gavin Patton) of Campton, KY, David E. Razinha of Mountain Park, OK, Christina Razinha (Harry Lowry II) of Clay City, KY, Jeremy Gail of Miami Beach, FL and Yvette Rohkohl of Tucson, AZ; six great grandchildren, David Austin Bentley, Savanah Bentley, Jessica Bentley, David A. Razinha, Harry Lowry III, and Dominic Hernandez; two nieces, Tammy (Scott) Bradley and Vicky Melsh; two nephews, Randy (Victoria) Miller and Ricky Miller; two adopted grandchildren, Tessa and Cody Garland, and many more friends and loved ones Graveside services will be on June 17th, 2020 at 11:00 am at West Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield, Iowa with Rev. Rick Gail officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her parents at West Grove Cemetery in Davis County / Bloomfield, Iowa.
